Using your phone's GPS system, Spott allows users to either browse by movie/show or their location to understand interesting information about that movie, show, or actors.
For example, Stapleton International Airport (now Denver IA) was edinburgh airport in the movie "Die Hard 2" with Bruce Willis. Up until recently, I had no idea how the hotel inside the movie "Dumb and Dumber" happened to be the Stanley Hotel, that was also the inspiration and setting for Stephen King's popular book and movie, "The Shining".
Along with giving users the ability to see their town in a whole new way, to keep your movies through the app, plus you'll be able to send in your individual photo from the famous locale in your neighborhood.
The interface for Spott is simple to manuever around - you can choose movies or shows by title, location, or movies which are near you. Obviously the nearby feature is the better, in particular when you're traveling or recently moved. As noted, movie locations near my new town of Denver as well as the state of Colorado are pretty popular.

As a movie and TV fan who transpires with love trivia, this is certainly a pretty good app to have in the event you've got an Android phone.
